Vicovanu Transport has strengthened its container operations with the delivery of 15 KRONE Box Liner sliding chassis, bringing the Trailer fleet to 50 units, with a further 15 on order. Additionally, the company has invested in 10 new Volvo FH Aero tractor units.

Founded in 2013 and operating from Thurrock, Essex, Vicovanu is a family-run business specialising in practical and reliable haulage services across the UK. The location provides rapid access to major road corridors. It serves as a gateway to southern deep-sea ports, supporting customers with all their container transport needs from single loads to high-volume projects.

The latest Box Liner chassis are specified for UK and Irish operations and can quickly adjust to carry 45’, 40’, 2×20’ or 30’ containers. Each chassis includes Smart Tyre Monitoring (ECE R141) and KRONE Telematics KSC ProPlus Dry 2 for real-time diagnostics and GPS visibility. A durable powder-coat finish and CDC priming underpin a 10-year rust-through warranty. The new FH Aeros bring improved aerodynamics and efficiency to day-to-day work, supporting Vicovanu’s nationwide schedule.

The 10 additions have now been added to the fleet and named—Narla Rose, Ava Louise, Olive Rose, Phoebe Rose, Finn Odette, Olivia Ella, Nancy Jean, Gaia Boudicca, Shelby Marie—are already on the road, with one further name to be announced as more vehicles enter service. The light-hearted campaign has given customers and drivers a simple way to engage with the fleet while the business continues to invest behind the scenes.
