ICL opens Felixstowe branch as UK network expandsJoe Walsh will lead the freight forwarder’s fifth UK office, supporting import and export customers near the port.
International Cargo Logistics Ltd (ICL) has opened a branch in Felixstowe, giving the freight forwarder a local presence near the UK’s largest container port.
The office will be led by Joe Walsh, who brings more than 22 years’ experience across ocean, air, road and rail freight, as well as warehousing and customs clearance. He will initially be supported by a senior import-and-export operator, with plans to expand the team as the branch grows.
ICL said the Felixstowe team will support customers’ import and export requirements through its wider UK and international network. The opening brings its UK office network to five, with operations in the Netherlands and Vietnam.
Chief Executive Yoav Izhari said the move would enable ICL to establish a physical presence in a town central to UK ocean freight, following the expansion of its other regional offices.
