Leading container haulier Martello Transport has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Tony Stafford as Commercial Manager, reuniting him with long-time colleague and fellow Commercial Manager Mark Walsh.

Together, Tony and Mark bring a formidable partnership back into play — one forged over 15 successful years at a previous business and built on shared values, complementary strengths, and a clear commercial vision. Their proven track record has brought immediate benefits to Martello as the company continues its ambitious growth.

Tony joins Martello with over 30 years of hands-on industry experience, having worked his way up from yard duties to depot management and then into senior leadership. His deep operational insight and commercial expertise make him a valuable addition to the business.

Reflecting on his decision to join Martello, Tony commented:
