Multimodal Awards 2026 open as industry recognition takes centre stage at the NEC

Entries open across modal, technology, sustainability and people-focused categories ahead of the awards evening on 30 June, as Multimodal returns as part of UK Logistics Week.

The logistics and supply chain sector is being invited to showcase its standout achievements, innovations, and rising stars as entries officially open for the 2026 Multimodal Awards.

Taking place alongside Multimodal 2026 at the NEC Birmingham from 30 June to 2 July, the awards will once again be a key highlight of UK Logistics Week, uniting the full range of the industry across freight, transport, warehousing, technology, and supply chain services.

This year’s awards programme combines industry-voted Modal Awards with expert-judged categories, recognising excellence in both operational performance and strategic innovation.

Celebrating excellence across every mode

Six Modal Awards will recognise outstanding achievement across air, road, rail, sea, ports, and freight forwarding. These categories are nominated and voted for by industry peers, including Multimodal Newsletter readers, as well as exhibitors and visitors, ensuring that the winners represent genuine peer recognition.

Alongside this, seven Judged Awards will be evaluated by an independent panel of industry experts following a brief written submission process. Categories include:

  • Shipper / Partner
  • Sustainability
  • Young Logistics Professional
  • Technology Company
  • Best Warehouse Operation
  • Customs Technology Partner
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Winners will be announced at the Multimodal Awards Evening on Monday 30 June, which marks the opening night of the exhibition and offers a key networking opportunity for operators, solution providers and supply chain leaders.

Commenting on the launch of entries, Robert Jervis, Event Director at Multimodal, stated:

The Multimodal Awards aim to genuinely showcase excellence in our industry. By combining categories voted on by the sector with awards judged independently, we can recognise both organisations making the most significant impact today and the people and technologies shaping the future of logistics. We invite businesses of all sizes to nominate themselves and be part of what is always a memorable evening on the Multimodal calendar.

 Part of UK Logistics Week

Multimodal 2026 forms part of UK Logistics Week, which features a week-long programme of exhibitions, conferences, and networking, including Warehouse., Yard., eDX, and the Road Transport Expo, creating one of the UK’s largest gatherings for the freight and logistics sector.

Visitors to Multimodal can expect multiple conference theatres, exhibitor showcases covering transport, technology, and infrastructure, and a busy programme of industry-led discussions focused on the future of the UK and global supply chain.
