Spotlight on the BIFA Village People

Porttalk catches up with three companies, all found in this year’s Multimodal 2023 BIFA Village.

With the word ‘village’ evoking a strong sense of community and a feeling that there’s more going on than first imagined, it makes perfect sense that BIFA’s (British International Freight Association) presence at Multimodal takes the form of the BIFA Forwarder Village.

An integral part of Multimodal for the last three years, the BIFA village offers a much-appreciated space for visitors to the show to learn more about the trade association’s critical role in supporting its freight forwarder and logistic service providers. It also provides 42 BIFA members with an opportunity to showcase their latest innovations, make product or service announcements, and partake in old-fashioned face-to-face conversations with friends, old and new.

Astral Global Logistics – Stand F6

Exhibiting for the first time at Multimodal this year, Astral Global Logistics (AGL) is already hugely impressed with what the show has to offer.

AGL business consultant Matt Hope says: “The first day (Tuesday) got off to a fantastic start, and our expectations as an inaugural exhibitor have already been exceeded. Meeting with a host of potential new business leads, we’ve been able to share how AGL can improve supply chain efficiencies and costs.
